About Me

“The fact that our business relationship spans more than 30 years tells you what I think about Bob.”
P. David Kennedy – President, Columbine Valley Corp and multiple real estate investment entities.

Bob is a seasoned commercial real estate expert who represents buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants in the areas of office, industrial, land and investment properties. He has navigated his clients through complex real estate challenges and guided them to successful outcomes in vibrant markets and downturns.

A Top Producer and Million Dollar Roundtable honoree, Bob was named a Partner at Fuller and Company in 2015. He was formerly a Senior Vice President at Moore Commercial/Coldwell Banker Commercial as well a broker at Colliers International.

His roster of multi-national, national, regional and local clients includes pension funds, family trusts, lending institutions and many recognizable corporate names such as Alcoa Aluminum, Aggregate Industries, GE Capital, Haselden Construction, Palace Construction, Outrigger Hotels Hawaii and Wagner Equipment Company. His nonprofit expertise includes working with such clients as Arapahoe House (multiple inpatient and outpatient facilities, acquisitions, dispositions, leases and subleases), Developmental Pathways, the National High School Rodeo Association, Mercy Loan Fund, and the Visiting Nurses Association. Bob has developed a particular niche working with family foundations and trusts including the Casey Family Programs (started by the founder of UPS) which is one of the largest privately endowed foundations in the country. Bob also numbers hundreds of local companies and organizations among his clients and takes great satisfaction in serving all his clients with the same dedication to care and service.

Bob is known for his calming, level-headed demeanor; his exquisite attention to detail in every transaction; his honesty and integrity; and his outstanding communication throughout every step of the process. Clients know they can trust Bob and rely on him as not just a broker in a transaction, but as a guide and advisor. His years in the business make him exceptionally valuable in reviewing the technical aspects of commercial real estate such as title work, surveys, contract language, contingencies, loan documents and 1031 exchange restrictions. In addition to acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing, Bob is also adept at negotiating lease renewals and providing opinions of value.

His years of experience make Bob an invaluable asset because he has come across and resolved challenges that most less-experienced brokers won’t have faced. For example, he had to work through the surprising hurdle faced by the title company and lender during the sale of the historic 1889 Ghost Building in downtown Denver when it was discovered that the building had only three sides, as the structure simply used the adjacent building for their back wall! He also persevered through the intricate and excruciating re-zoning process for Nine Mile Station development, involving multiple landowners with conflicting agendas. He remained closely involved with the Denver Indian Health and Family Services when they ran into a zoning snafu while attempting a major remodel on a newly leased space, although the deal had already closed and the problem was on the landlord side, and he represented the tenant. These are just a few examples of Bob’s breadth of experience and above-and-beyond level of service.

COMMUNITY
Bob believes strongly in giving back to the community; his pro bono, community and volunteer work include many years on the Board of Arapahoe House Foundation, later becoming Board Chair of The Recovery Foundation. He is also a founding member and Board Chair of the Community Housing Development Association, which develops affordable housing since 1995.

EDUCATION
Bob has an MBA with an emphasis in Finance, a Bachelor of Science in Business and a BA in Psychology all from the University of Colorado.

PERSONAL
Bob’s passions in life include cycling, running, classic movies, film noir, gardening and cooking. He is known for his awesome beef Bourguignon, exotic Turkish lamb stew and unique shrimp burgers.
